Privacy Policy
Effective: May 12, 2026
Cadence respects your privacy. This policy describes what data Cadence collects, how it's used, and your rights.
What Cadence collects
- Account email — required to sign you in and recover access.
- Menstrual cycle entries — the start and end dates of periods you log. Stored encrypted on our servers.
- Optional partner connection — if you share with a partner via an invite code, the relationship between your accounts is stored so the partner can view your countdown.
- Optional notification preferences — your push token and lead-day reminder choices.
- Diagnostic crash data — anonymized error reports via Apple's TestFlight / App Store crash reporting.
How Cadence uses your data
- To show your cycle history and predictions in the app.
- To deliver opt-in reminders before predicted period start dates.
- To allow a partner you explicitly invited to view your countdown.
Third parties
- Supabase — authenticated database and email delivery. Cycle dates are encrypted at rest.
- Apple HealthKit — only if you opt in. Cadence reads and writes the Menstrual Cycle category. Data stays on your device.
- Google AdMob — serves non-personalized advertisements only. Cadence does not request tracking permission. No personally identifiable data is shared.
Data you control
- Export your cycle data as a CSV at any time (Settings → Export my data).
- Delete your account permanently (Settings → Delete account). Deletion removes all personally identifiable data from our servers.
Your rights
You may request a copy of all data we store about you at any time, or request deletion of your account and all associated data, by emailing trevor.frese@gmail.com.
Children
Cadence is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
